Meet Coach Meg

First and foremost, thank you for being here! My name is Meg, and I created Megan Weaver Wellness to reach an abundance of women like me who struggle with the balances of work, fitness, maybe kids, significant others, and mental health. I am the mom to a spunky kiddo, Oakleigh K and a wife to a hardworking OR nurse for the last 18 years.

My background is in athletics and strength training, though I have dabbled in just about every kind of fitness out there! From bodybuilding, to powerlifting, to strongman, running, back to powerlifting, from yoga to CrossFit and finally fell into a beautiful blend of all of the above. My fitness doesn’t fit in a box, fitness is fluid, and changes frequently, just like we do!!

I have navigated my way through a journey of disordered eating, body dysmorphia and depression/anxiety/ADHD. I don’t say this for pity, I say it to be transparent and to hopefully show you I'm RELATABLE if nothing else. You’re not alone!

I have recently come to realize WHY I do what I do. I do this to be who I have always needed in my corner. I do this to be who YOU need, to help you navigate the rough seas of womanhood.

I’m a weightlifting and nutrition coach who believes strength training is one of the most important and empowering things a woman can do.

My mission is to help women and mothers step into the gym with confidence, challenge their limits, and build a body they feel proud of. My mission is also to empower women to eat food, not restrict themselves and lean into what it means to fuel our bodies for the busy lives we lead.

My coaching style is uplifting and supportive, but I’ll also push you—in the best way. You’ll feel safe, seen, encouraged and stronger every single week. Whether you’re brand-new to lifting or ready to challenge yourself to a new 1 rep max, I’m here to help you unlock the strongest, healthiest version of yourself.
